Christof :We accept the reality of the world with which we’re presented. It’s as simple as that.
There is no secret stuff here.
It is all to be found if you have the eye to see it,

The overview effect is a cognitive shift in awareness reported by some astronauts during spaceflight, often while viewing the Earth from outer space.
It is the experience of seeing first-hand the reality of the Earth in space, which is immediately understood to be a tiny, fragile ball of life, “hanging in the void”, shielded and nourished by a paper-thin atmosphere.
The effect may also invoke a sense of transcendence and connection with humanity as a whole, from which national borders appear petty.

3. The state of being free from the constraints of the material world, as in the case of a deity.
While almost everyone is taught that the Earth is a sphere with all of us somehow glued to it by gravity, the reality of our circumstance did not really begin to sink in until the famous frame-filling Apollo photograph of the whole Earth—the one taken by the Apollo 17 astronauts on the last journey of humans to the Moon.

James Hadley Billington (June 1, 1929 – November 20, 2018) was an American academic and author who taught history at Harvard and Princeton before serving for 42 years as CEO of four federal cultural institutions. He served as the 13th Librarian of Congress after being nominated by President Ronald Reagan in 1987, and his appointment was approved unanimously by the U.S. Senate.
Modern revolutionaries are believers, no less committed and intense than were the Christians or Muslims of an earlier era.
What is new is the belief that a perfect secular order will emerge from the forcible overthrow of traditional authority.

Sometimes this philosophy has been hidden from the public and at other times it has been placed in plain view – though always in such a way as to remain unrecognized by outsiders.
