Ordo Ab Chao

ORDO AB CHAO. Order out of Chaos. This is the famous motto of the Supreme Council, thirty-third degree of the Ancient and Accepted rite—the highest degree of the Freemasons. From the beginning of recorded time, the human race has sought to explore its mysterious origins, and to explain and control the chain of causality. Order out of Chaos means the occasion of rising beyond one’s indiscriminate animal patterning and so attaining a higher plane of existence. To learn the way to that plane, to follow the proper paths, to continue the journey and complete (as far as mortally possible) the wondrous voyage to a higher self and the unity of the whole—these are the goals of the venerable brotherhood of Freemasons, one of the most widely known fraternal organizations in the world.
